Because a paywall has dreadful timing—especially when someone genuinely needs a hand.

The Rose Mission is being designed around free access to core tools. The aim is to fund that access through ethical sponsorship and partnerships, not by selling vulnerable people’s data or hiding essential help behind a crisis paywall.

Nobody should be turned into a product because they needed support.

At its heart, this is neighbour looking after neighbour, with technology widening access rather than inequality.
